Goja Recipe

Goja recipe is a favorite food item of India & Bangladesh. It is very testy sweet. The recipe doesn’t too much time to prepare and it is also very easy. Here is the full instruction on how to make Goja recipe at home. Hope you will make Goja recipe at home easily by following the instruction. Goja Recipe

Ingredients

·         1.5 cup of all purpose Flour

·         A pinch of Salt

·         2 cups Ground Sugar

·         1.5 cup of Water

·         3-4 tablespoon of Vegetable Oil.

Instructions

1.      Making the Sugar Syrup: -

2.      At first boil the 1.5 cup of water in a pan and add the sugar to it. Now keep stirring until all the sugar gets dissolved into the water. The syrup should have medium thickness (not too light or not too thick).

3.      Making the Poori: -

4.      Take the all purpose flour and a pinch of salt and mix them well. Then also add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and mix perfectly. Now pour ½ a cup of water (short at a time) to the flour and make soft dough.

5.      Now make small flour balls from the dough and roll them into a oval shape or tongue shape.

6.      Now take a cutter and cut a few slits on the individual oval shaped flour sheets.

7.      Now it is time to fry those flour sheets.

8.      Pour the oil in a pan and heat the oil. When the oil is really hot add the flour sheets one at a time. Now fry each sheets for 2 to 3 minutes until the pooris become golden color in both sides.

9.      Then take out the pooris and put them on a paper towel for soak the extra oil.

10.  Now cool the pooris for 2 minutes. Then dip the pooris into the hot sugar syrup for 2 minutes.

11.  Then take over the pooris and cool them down. Now refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

12.  Do the same instruction with all the Pooris.
